These terms govern your use of Paperbeam, the private on-device document scanner and OCR application for iPhone developed by Rakesh Kode.

1. Licensed Application

Paperbeam is licensed to you through Apple's App Store under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). You are permitted to install and use the app on your personal Apple iOS devices.

2. On-Device Processing & Data Responsibility

All camera edge detection, perspective transformations, and Neural Engine OCR processing take place directly on your iPhone. Scanned PDF documents and extracted texts remain strictly inside your application sandbox and biometric vault. You remain solely responsible for backing up your documents via iOS system backup.

3. Disclaimer of Warranties

Paperbeam is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. While on-device Vision OCR achieves exceptional recognition fidelity, Rakesh Kode does not warrant that OCR recognition will be 100% accurate under all physical lighting or handwriting conditions.
