Terms of Service

Last updated: 30 September 2026 · Imprint: Mac Upgraded

These terms govern your use of NFC Pocket, the iOS application developed by Rakesh Kode for reading, writing, and cloning NFC tags on iPhone.

1. Acceptable Use & Physical NFC Tags

NFC Pocket is a developer and utility tool designed for programming your own physical tags, testing NDEF records, and managing personal automations. You agree not to use the application to attempt unauthorized access to secure access-control systems or clone physical credentials without authorization from the property owner.

2. Hardware Compatibility

NFC tag read and write capabilities depend on physical NFC chip hardware (NTAG213, NTAG215, NTAG216, Mifare Ultralight, etc.) and Apple's Core NFC hardware specifications. Certain encrypted proprietary badges (such as Mifare Classic or DESFire with proprietary keys) may not support arbitrary read/write operations due to chip-level encryption constraints.

3. Disclaimer of Warranties

The application is provided "as is" without warranty. Rakesh Kode is not liable for data corruption or physical chip locking resulting from writing custom raw byte payloads or setting permanent hardware lock bits.
