Privacy Policy

Your attention is yours. So is your data.

Last updated: 30 September 2026 · Imprint: Mac Upgraded

Brickr is built so that the private details of how you use your phone never leave it. This policy is the plain-English version of exactly that.

In one line: Brickr collects nothing, transmits nothing, and has no accounts, servers, ads, analytics, or third-party tracking. Everything it stores stays on your device.

What Brickr keeps — on your device only

This lives in a private, sandboxed container shared only between Brickr and its own app extensions. It is never uploaded anywhere.

Apple Screen Time

Brickr applies and removes limits through Apple’s Screen Time technology (the Family Controls, Device Activity, and Managed Settings frameworks). That framework is private by design: Brickr never receives the real identities of the apps you pick — they’re opaque tokens — and never sees your detailed usage history.

NFC and camera

NFC is used only to read a tag’s identifier so you can register it and later tap to unlock. The camera is used only to scan a QR code for the same purpose — Brickr reads the code’s text and never takes, stores, or transmits photos or video. Nothing from either leaves your device.

Children

Brickr is meant for the person managing their own device. It does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new “last updated” date.
