Executive Summary: Pathway is built from the ground up to be 100% private and on-device. We do not collect, transmit, store, or sell any of your personal data, files, telemetry, or analytics. Zero trackers. Zero network calls.

1. Data Collection & Privacy Nutrition Label

Under Apple's App Store Privacy Nutrition guidelines:

Data Not Collected: Pathway does not collect any data from this app. None of your data is used for tracking, and no data is linked to your identity.

2. File System Access & Permissions

Pathway is a local macOS file manager. When you grant permissions (such as Desktop, Documents, Downloads, or Full Disk Access), those permissions are utilized exclusively by your Mac's operating system to let you inspect, move, copy, compress, and organize your files.

No file metadata, paths, contents, or directory structures ever leave your device.

3. Network Communications

Pathway does not make background network requests, does not connect to remote analytics servers, and contains no third-party software development kits (SDKs) or advertising frameworks.

4. Data Storage & Preferences

Your preferences (such as your chosen default view mode, icon size, folders-on-top toggle, and sidebar pinned favorites) are saved locally on your Mac using standard Apple macOS UserDefaults. They remain strictly on your Mac.

5. Contact & Support

Pathway is built by independent developer Rakesh Kode as part of the Mac Upgraded native suite.
